New Invisible Joy is British-Pop like music. They have an amazing sound, and John's voice is most definetly mesmerizing. Check out their website:

New Invisible Joy

Our story begins on February 17, 2001. In a girl's bathroom at the Harrisburg Hilton for the MMC. Yes, the girl's bathroom, and what happened after that, no one will ever understand.

Gwen, Emily, and I walk into the girl's bathroom. To find a handsome young man washing his hands at the sink. We stop, confusion sets in. He looks at us and says "Am I in the girl's bathroom?" We answer yes, and begin talking after that. We talk for a little longer, and find out he's in the band that's playing next. We part, and I use the bathroom (that's what I went to do in the first place).

We check out their band, and fall in love with their music. We (the band, Gwen, Emily, I , and Mom) hang out together off and on all night. They leave, and we don't see them again until March 31, 2001 in Pittsburgh.

We were in Pittsburgh (as you read before), and Mike (whom we met in the bathroom) got us into the bar they were playing at. Before we went to see them though, we ran into Brian (the drummer) while seeing Grapevine at Nick's Fat City. Then on Saturday we went shopping on the Southside, and ran into John (the lead singer) at a cool vintage clothing store.

We went to see them that night at a place called Club Cafe. It was an amazing performance, and I was really greatful to be there. We had a grand reunion, and found out that Mike infact did use the bathroom in the girl's room. It was fun to see them play, but sad when we left.

Hopefully we'll we get to see them perform at X-Fest in May, and maybe they'll play at Gullifty's before we leave for Florida.

New Invisible Joy (NIJ) is composed of: John Schisler (lead vocals), Evan Handyside (bass), Mike Gaydos (guitar), and Brian Colletti (drums).
